Postcard Tombstone of Eduard Král – Jenišovice, Czech Republic, until 1950

Original black and white postcard with the motif of the tombstone of Eduard Král, a student from Prague, located on Sv. Pole in Jenišovice near Turnov. The postcard dates from the first half of the 20th century, has a classic small format. On the front side there is a photograph with the text JEN ŽIVÍ ZEMÍ PARADISE, DEAD LIVE FOREVER. The back side contains a description of the monument, the name of the author of the statue (academic sculptor Fr. Píttel) and the stonemason's workshop Fr. Gabriel from Prague VII. The postcard is intended for the purchase of local bells during the World War. A very interesting and rare collector's item for lovers of history, monuments or regional postcards from Bohemia.

The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
