Prague Hradčany, Charles Bridge – historical postcard until 1950
A historical postcard with a black and white shot of Hradčany in Prague, specifically the place on Charles Bridge from which St. John of Nepomuk was thrown into the Vltava River. On the front side there is a distinctive decorative wrought iron railing with a cross and in the background a panorama of Prague Castle. The back side has a description in Czech and German and space for a stamp and address. The condition of the postcard corresponds to its age - small stains and light wear, corners slightly bent. An ideal collector's item from the first half of the 20th century.
