Prague – Wenceslas Square, postcard 1934 with a stamp

Original historical postcard with a black and white depiction of Wenceslas Square in Prague. The postcard clearly shows the statue of St. Wenceslas, the surrounding houses and tram traffic, which aptly captures the unique character of Prague in the first half of the 20th century. The postcard is used in the post, with a stamp and a full PRAGA postmark, dated 27. IX. 1934. The back contains a handwritten message and the addressee's address. Slight signs of age, corners slightly worn, consistent with age and origin. A unique collector's item for lovers of the history of Prague and postcards from the First Republic.
