Prague – Palacký Monument and Church on Slavany, 1922, sent postcard
Original old postcard from 1922 depicting the František Palacký monument and the church on Slavs in Prague. The postcard is printed according to the original by Hynek Kott. The postcard depicts statues and classicist architecture of Prague monuments. The back is described in a contemporary handwriting and has a stamp dated 1. III. 22 (1 March 1922), addressed to the gendarmerie station in Senica, Slovakia. This is a unique collector's item from the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic. The condition of the postcard corresponds to its age - slight wear and rounded corners, but still a very nice and authentic find for collectors of historical postcards of Prague and its landmarks.
