Volák's rose garden at the Prague Exhibition Centre, historical postcard
Original historical postcard titled Volák's Rose Garden at the Prague Exhibition Grounds depicts a ceremonial garden that was part of the Prague Exhibition Grounds. On the front side is a beautiful view of a landscaped park with roses, paths and an exhibition gate with the inscription Volák. This is a period photo of a significant horticultural area associated with the name Jan Volák, a gardener from Prague-Vršovice, whose business was known for growing roses, shrubs and other ornamental and fruit plants. The back side contains a short advertising information and is described in pencil. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, with a patina corresponding to its age. A great addition to a collection of postcards with motifs of Prague and historical gardens.
