Prague – Hradčany and the National Theatre, historical postcard, Legion Bridge, 1951

Original black and white postcard with a panorama of Hradčany and the National Theatre in Prague. In the foreground is the Legionary Bridge, on the right the National Theatre building and in the background the dominant panorama of Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral. The back of the postcard is provided with a postage stamp (Czechoslovakia, 1951, 30h) and a handwritten message addressed to Mrs. Lída Burianová (Prague-Dejvice). The postcard is in very good collector's condition, with a patina corresponding to its age. An exceptional piece for a collection of historical postcards from Prague.
