Prague Charles Bridge – winter postcard, Merry Christmas, 1944, protectorate stamp

Original old postcard with Christmas and New Year motif from Prague. The front side depicts the winter scenery of Charles Bridge with a view of Hradčany, snow-covered Prague. At the bottom of the postcard is the inscription Merry Christmas and New Year. The back side contains a handwritten dedication, a stamp from the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (Deutsches Reich, 60h) and a postmark from 1944. The postcard is in collector's grade, with signs of wear, minor bends and soiling, which is consistent with its age. An interesting piece for lovers of Prague history or collectors of postal history.
