Prague at the Moonlight – Old Town Square, postcard 1911, postmarked

Original black and white postcard titled PRAGUE BY THE MOON. With Old Town Square to Týn. The postcard depicts the Old Town Square in Prague illuminated at night with the dominant feature of the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The postcard is postmarked, dated in handwriting 1911, addressed to Zalec (today's Žalec in Slovenia) with a period stamp of Austria-Hungary and a handwritten message. A commemorative collector's item with a nice touch of history and atmosphere of Prague at the beginning of the 20th century. Overall condition is consistent with its age, with some noticeable edge wear.
