Paris 1937 – Exposition Internationale, postcard with boats on the Seine

Original postcard from the Exposition Internationale in Paris in 1937. The postcard depicts shipping and pavilions on the Seine River during this world exhibition. The obverse shows modern exhibition objects and cruise ships, including a stylized ship composition, flags and a waterfront typical of Paris at that time. The reverse contains a handwritten dedication and a postmark from before World War II. Excellent historical and collector's condition, suitable for a thematic collection of postcards with a water transport motif or exhibitions.
