Ostrava – Victory February Square, historical postcard 1952

A historical postcard depicting the Victorious February Square (today known as Masaryk Square) in Ostrava. The postcard is dominated by a building with arcades, in the foreground is a landscaped park with flower planting and a fountain, on the street you can see a tram and residents dressed in period clothing. On the back is a postmark from 1952 and a stamp with a portrait of a prominent figure. The postcard is addressed to Prague. The postcard has minor signs of age on the edges. A great collector's item depicting the atmosphere of Ostrava and city life in the 1950s.
