Old view – children in the countryside, Bohemia, 1908

An old postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period, sent to Prague in 1908. The postcard depicts a sepia photograph of two small children, probably siblings, in a wooden rustic-style setting. On the back there is a pasted-on period stamp and handwritten greetings addressed to Miss Henduce Wittelhofer in Prague. The postcard bears authentic signs of age, the edges are slightly worn and there are fine traces of use on the surface. A great collector's item suitable for lovers of history, ethnography and old postcards from Bohemia.
