Catalog number: M3520
Old hand-colored postcard Austria-Hungary, humorous motif, Czech Republic until 1950
Old postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period, small format, hand-colored, dated before 1950. On the obverse there is an interesting scene of two people in an interior - a woman in a pink evening dress sitting on a chair and a man in a jacket above her, reaching out his hand with a bottle. The scene is captured in soft pastel colors with hand-colored and has a humorous and unconventional effect. Reverse with original postmark, stamp and handwritten text addressed to Miss Andulka Šťastná to Svárov. The postcard bears typical signs of period correspondence and is suitable for collectors of historical postcards and lovers of old Czech epistolary history. Condition is consistent with age - slight wear, dirt and abrasions in places.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
