Old Castle – the castle of Jn. Konst. Ostrovsky, cartoon postcard, in Russian

Original old postcard with a drawing of a castle marked as the Chateau of Jn. Konst. Ostrovsky. The postcard is made in soft sepia tones, probably hand-colored or drawn. The front side depicts a tower-like object on a cliff surrounded by nature, in the left corner there is an inscription with the name of the castle. The back side of the postcard is in Russian - the inscription Почтовая карточка, space for a stamp marked Место dla marki and descriptive lines for the address. The postcard bears traces of age, small spots and yellowing of the paper, which, however, only underline its ancient character. A great collector's item for lovers of historical postcards with motifs of castles and chateaux, or Russian-language artifacts.
