Postcard Konopiště - artistic painting by KV Muttich, undescribed
An artistic postcard with the motif of Konopiště, one of the most famous Czech castles, which was created according to the design of the academic painter KV Muttich. The front side beautifully captures a view of Konopiště Castle surrounded by an autumn landscape by a pond, typical of the artistic style of this time. The back side of the postcard contains a brief historical description of the castle, which served as the seat of many noble families and was also the home of the heir to the Austrian throne, Archduke Ferdinand d Este. The postcard is not described and is in very good collector's condition. An ideal addition to a collection of postcards with the motif of Czech castles and chateaux.
