Jemnice – historical postcard 1925, colored, sent to Slovakia
Original historical postcard of the town of Jemnice in the Vysočina region, sent in 1925 to Prešov in Slovakia. The front side features a hand-colored view of the town with the castle and the church of St. Stanislav. The back side contains period handwriting and a postmark along with two Czechoslovak stamps worth 5 and 10 haller. The postcard shows slight signs of wear and minor scratches, which however very well illustrate its original period character. A valuable collector's item for lovers of regional postcards and the history of Czech towns.
