Vintage Christmas postcard of Jesus' sleigh, Czechoslovakia 1932
This beautiful vintage postcard shows an illustration of a child in winter clothing riding a traditional wooden sleigh decorated with a wooden horse figurine. The postcard is colorful and captures the winter atmosphere with a red tree and a shining star in the background. On the back there is a postmark and a stamp of the Czechoslovak Post, dated 1932, as well as an original handwritten text, which adds to the nostalgic charm of this collector's item. The postcard was issued for the benefit of children's sanatoriums in Slovakia and was published by the General Benevolent Cooperative for the Protection of Mothers and Children in Prague-Karlín. The illustration is signed by P. Laichter under the title Jesus' Sleigh. A perfect addition to a collection of thematic postcards or as a Christmas decoration with historical value.
