Znojmo – Gothic Church of St. Nicholas and castle, postcard
Original black and white postcard depicting a part of ancient Znojmo above the valley slopes of the Dyje River. In the foreground, the crowns of trees are reflected on the surface of the river and in the distance you can see the city's landmarks: the Gothic church of St. Nicholas from the 14th-15th century and on the left a fortified castle, today the seat of the South Moravian Museum. The postcard is unposted, with a detailed description on the back, published by Orbis Publishing House, Prague. Photo: JH Toman. An antique piece suitable for collectors and lovers of the history of Czech cities and architecture.
