Old illustrated view Václav Fiala: Spring in Slovakia - ethnography
I am offering for sale an old postcard by Václav Fiala titled Spring in Slovakia from the first half of the 20th century. The postcard presents a picturesque scene of a woman in a traditional Slovak costume carrying a basket of eggs, which evokes spring agricultural work and folk customs in Slovakia. The illustration is made in a fine watercolor technique with the typical author's signature of V. Fiala. The postcard is sent and stamped in 1938, on the back there is a handwritten dedication and a stamp of the First Republic of Czechoslovakia. Ideal for collectors of ethnographic postcards and lovers of Slovak folk culture. Well-preserved condition, see photos.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
