Historical postcard - Children's game of cricket, ethnography, early 20th century.
An antique postcard depicting a children's rural game scene in the English countryside. The illustration shows a group of children in period clothing playing cricket in a large meadow. A girl in typical costume with a cap and pink dress, next to her a boy ready to hit a ball with a bat, another boy in sailor's clothing with a wooden stick and a girl in pink clothing in the background. The postcard is from the early 20th century, as evidenced by the attached stamp and stamps on the back. There are handwritten notes on the front, which add historical atmosphere and authentic character. An ideal collector's item for those interested in ethnography, children's games and historical postcards.
