Old ethnographic postcard children in folk costumes Protectorate 1940
I am offering an interesting old postcard depicting children in folk costumes. On the front side there are two boys and a girl in traditional (probably Moravian) costume, with colorful skirts and hats. The scene is very detailed in pastel colors. The back of the postcard contains a handwritten text addressed to Mr. Adolf Vések, former major intendant, with the relevant postmark and stamps from the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, dated 1940. The postcard has a patina of age, signs of wear and yellowing, which give it a historical character. An exceptional collector's item for those interested in ethnography, history and postage stamps from the Protectorate period.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
