Original black and white postcard depicting the historic Hus Square in Nové Město nad Metují with the Renaissance town hall dominating the area and the statue of Bedřich Smetana in the foreground. The postcard was published by the state-owned Orbis Praha publishing house, the author of the photograph is Zd. Menec. On the back there is a short description of the square and information about the significance of the monument reserve and the state chateau. The postcard is in very good condition, with no signs of use. Ideal for a collection, especially for lovers of Czech towns and historical buildings.
