Postcard Hejnice (Haindorf i. B.) – Baroque church, Jizera Mountains

An old postcard depicting the monumental Baroque church in Haindorf i. B. (today's Hejnice in the Jizera Mountains) with beautiful mountain scenery in the background. The dominant Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, an important pilgrimage site, and the surrounding villages are beautifully visible in the picture. This postcard was taken and published by photographer Alfred Augsten from Haindorf. The postcard has a classic division on the back and shows signs of age - slight yellowing and light wear of the corners. This is a prized collector's item from the first half of the 20th century, suitable for a collection of Czech historical monuments or postcards with the theme of churches and pilgrimage sites. Classic size (approx. 9 x 14 cm).
