Old postcard PECKA RESORT – Czechoslovakia, circa 1940s
Original old postcard titled PECKA RESORT captures a picturesque view of the town of Pecka in the Podkrkonoší Mountains, dominated by a baroque church on a hill and the surrounding development of smaller country houses. The postcard is black and white and bears signs of age and small stains. On the back is a handwritten text, addressed to Prague, and a period stamp Czechoslovakia with a portrait. Publisher: Orbis, KČs 2.50. An exceptional collector's item suitable for lovers of regional history, postcards or philocards. Dated according to the stamp around the middle of the 20th century.
