Monument to Svatopluk the Czech in Obříství – historical postcard, used by post

Original historical postcard from the period of the First Republic (before 1950) depicting the monument to Svatopluk Čech in Obříství. The front side depicts the monument to the famous Czech poet and writer, which was created according to the design of the academic sculptor V. Mach and was realized by the Břet. Vobořil company in Kralupy. The postcard is postmarked and bears a Czechoslovak stamp with the Obříství stamp. On the back side is the original handwritten message addressed to Prague. A very nice collector's item for lovers of Czech history and postcards.
