Greetings from Pilsen – Municipal Theatre, 1911, colored postcard
Original historical postcard from Pilsen - Municipal Theater. The postcard was published in 1911 and is colored. On the front side there is a beautiful view of the municipal theater and the adjacent park with a busy street lined with trees and people in period clothing. The text Greetings from Pilsen and Municipal Theater is printed in the upper part. On the back side there is a handwritten dedication and an Austro-Hungarian stamp worth 5 hellers with a portrait of Franz Joseph I. The postcard was sent to Vienna on November 27, 1911. This is an attractive collector's item from the Austro-Hungarian period. The condition is consistent with its age, the corners are slightly worn. A great addition to the collection of old postcards from Pilsen and historical cities of the Czech Republic.
