Original historical postcard from Šumava, depicting the lookout tower on Svatobor hill near Sušice (built in 1935 by the Czechoslovak Tourists Club). The postcard has a high-quality black and white photograph of the lookout tower, with the forest surroundings in the foreground. It is a small-format postcard, postmarked, with a stamp and date 1937. On the back is a personal dedication and the addressee's address in Brno. A very nice collector's item documenting the architecture and tourism of the First Republic.
