Postcard Krkonoše Žalý lookout tower 1937, Czechoslovakia

Original black and white postcard from 1937 depicting the lookout tower in Žalé in the Krkonoše Mountains (Heidelberg, Riesengebirge). On the front side there is a beautiful winter view of the stone tower of the lookout tower together with a mountain hut, covered in snow and in its original period condition. The back side is hand-written with a used Czechoslovakia 50 haller stamp with a portrait of TG Masaryk. The postcard is in very good condition considering its age. A great addition to the collection of postcards with the theme of Czech lookout towers and the history of our mountains. Published by P. Slavík, Jablonec nad Nisou. Format approx. 9 x 14 cm.
