Ještěd 1940 – snowy historical postcard, stamp, winter motif

Old black and white postcard with a motif of snow-covered Ještěd (1010 m above sea level), dated 1940. The postcard was issued by the Czech Winter Sports Association in Prague and contains a stamp and postmark from that time. On the front side there is a beautiful winter scenery with a building and snow-covered trees. The back side is described with handwritten text and the address of the recipient in Prague. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, with minor signs of wear commensurate with its age. An ideal addition to a historical collection of postcards from the Czech mountains and winter sports.
