Mácha Lake, Doksy 1936 – historical postcard, beach

A historical postcard from 1936 depicting a busy beach at Mácha Lake in Doksy. The postcard shows many visitors enjoying a summer day, swimming and sunbathing on the shore of the popular recreational area. Beautiful view of the lake with the surrounding landscape and a characteristic hill in the background. The back contains a stamp from the Czechoslovakian period, an address and a handwritten message. The postcard was published by the publishing house of Ladislav Kratochvíl of Doks, no. F-1881. An ideal collector's item, illustrating the atmosphere of Czechoslovak interwar recreation.
