Cheb (Eger) – historical postcard, view of the city, circa 1920

Old postcard from the city of Eger (today's Cheb), view of the city with the dominant church of St. Nicholas and Elizabeth and the surrounding buildings, view from the quarry (Blick vom Steinbruch). Color lithograph, on the back a Czechoslovakia postage stamp and a handwritten message, sent around 1920. The postcard is in good condition with minor wear on the corners. An exceptional collector's item documenting the historical appearance of Cheb before the middle of the 20th century.
