Postcard of a traditional Easter egg in wax technique, 1986
I am offering an original postcard with a motif of traditionally decorated Easter eggs (Hessische Ostereier) created using the wax technique by Marie Schick from the village of Mardorf. On the front side of the postcard there is a color photograph of a basket with painted Easter eggs on a yellow background, set in green grass. The back side contains a description in German, a handwritten dedication from March 1986 and a place for a stamp and address. The postcard is especially interesting for ethnography lovers, postcard collectors and admirers of traditional folk art. Excellent condition, without postage stamps.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
