Easter postcard with folk customs and costumes, postmarked
An old Easter postcard with an ethnographic motif. The front side depicts a traditional rural custom, with figures in folk costumes. The color illustration depicts a group of women and men in richly decorated folk costumes at an Easter ceremony. The postcard is postmarked, with a handwritten greeting with the text Happy Easter! addressed to the family. The postcard was issued as an art postcard designed by the academic painter J. Koudelka. It has an Austria-Hungary 5 heller stamp with a postmark. Suitable for collectors of ethnographic postcards or collectors of art postcards from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
