Easter postcard – sheep grazing, Austria-Hungary, 1914

An old Easter postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period sent in 1914. On the front side of the postcard is a black and white photograph of a flock of sheep grazing with the inscription Happy Easter. In the background are wooden fences, a rural landscape and mountains or hills. The postcard is small in size and comes from the well-known WRB & Co. Wien series, number 3139. The other side is filled in, addressed and provided with a stamp with a portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph I and a postmark from Beroun. The overall condition of the postcard corresponds to its age, there is a small stain in the upper right corner of the envelope. A period Easter motif and a nice example of a rural landscape from the beginning of the 20th century.
