Easter postcard 1909 – Czech folk costume, ethnography

Old Easter postcard from 1909 with an ethnographic theme. The postcard depicts a boy in folk costume, traditionally whipping a whip, which is a typical Czech Easter custom. Distinctive illustration with floral motifs and inscriptions in the old Bohemian style. On the back there is a handwritten message and a period Austro-Hungarian stamp with a postmark. The postcard is in nice collector's condition, suitable for a collection focused on folk traditions, Easter or historical ethnography. Classic small format size, printed by Unie, Prague.
