Christmas postcard winter village COMMAND OF THE VIII CZECHOSLOVAK INFANTRY BRIGADE
Original postcard with a Christmas motif sent during the First Republic. On the front side there is a beautiful color illustration of a winter village with folk costumes - a young man is serving a loaf of bread to a woman over a stone wall, in the background are snowy cottages and a church, the atmosphere of the painting emphasizes the ethnographic character of the whole. The back side contains a Christmas greeting to Slovak families of soldiers from the Military Home of the American Young Men's Christian Association and is complemented by a hand-written dedication, stamps and address. This is a very attractive postcard for collectors, capturing the customs and landscape of the time.
