Christmas postcard Czechoslovakia 1988 – gold, candle, retro

Christmas postcard from the former Czechoslovakia, sent in 1988. The front side shows a festively wrapped golden gift, a lit candle, a spruce branch and a Christmas ornament. The back side contains the greeting Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 1988 and an address to Prague with a period USSR postage stamp. The postcard is printed and photographed by Pavel Čanda, printed by Severografia Děčín. A great collector's item with a retro 1980s atmosphere, suitable for a collection of Christmas-themed postcards or to commemorate older traditions.
