Christmas postcard – chimney sweep and children, Czechoslovakia, c. 1950

I am offering an original postcard with a colored drawing of a winter village landscape. The postcard depicts a chimney sweep and two children on a sled, houses covered in snow and chimneys from which smoke rises. The atmosphere is cheerful and reminiscent of a traditional Czech Christmas. On the back of the postcard is a handwritten dedication with wishes for Christmas and the New Year. The postcard was sent from Prague and is prepaid with a stamp with the motif of Prague Castle. This is a smaller-format postcard from the period before 1950. Suitable for collectors of historical postcards or lovers of Czech village motifs.
