Original old postcard with a winter motif, painted picture with the inscription Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum neuen Jahre (Hearty wishes for the New Year). The postcard depicts snowy houses, people on the street and a chapel with a tower in a night atmosphere. The postcard is used, has been sent by post - addressed to Vienna. On the back are German stamps and a handwritten letter in German. Dated according to the stamps and the style of the font, the turn of the 1930s/1940s. Very nice collector's condition, suitable for collectors of historical and New Year's postcards. Rarer motif and destination.
