Old New Year's greeting card, Czechoslovakia 1937 – small format

Original old New Year's postcard from the period before 1950. The front side is beautifully illustrated, depicting a winter scene with three children and typical holiday motifs, including twigs and toadstools, with the wish Happy New Year! . Reflecting the period atmosphere, the colorful concept and details will delight every collector. The back side bears a handwritten text, address and a period stamp from the then Czechoslovakia worth 50 haller, cancelled in 1937. Excellent condition, only minor signs of age. A great piece for a collection of historical postcards.
