Christmas postcard 1941 – Protectorate, colored
Small-format Christmas postcard, sent in 1941 to the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, as evidenced by a period stamp and postmark. The front side is decorated with a color reproduction of an artistic painting with the scene of the birth of Jesus Christ: The Holy Family with Jesus Christ in a manger, St. Joseph and the Virgin Mary, supplemented with the inscription Happy Christmas Holidays!. The postcard is addressed to Miss Maňa Culková, German Brod – Horní předměstí. On the back side is a handwritten original dedication and signature of the sender. A distinctive collector's and historical artifact, a document of Czechoslovak Christmas correspondence from the first half of the 20th century.
