Antique Christmas postcard – Merry Christmas, Czech Republic, before 1950

An old Christmas postcard with the Czech text Merry Christmas and an illustration of children in the snow. The motif is richly decorated, the color lithograph depicts two children with gifts and snowballs, in the background is a winter landscape and stylized frames, typical of the Art Nouveau and early interwar period. On the back is the original handwritten dedication, postage stamp and postmark, which proves its period authenticity. The postcard bears signs of age - wear and slight damage to the corner as well as signs of postal circulation (stamp, missing piece of paper from the stamp). A great collector's item for lovers of old Christmas postcards and nostalgic art from the first half of the 20th century.
