New Year's postcard 1942 Prague - Protectorate, motif for good luck
Original New Year's postcard from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia period, sent on 24. 12. 1942 from Prague. The postcard features a motif for good luck - a horseshoe, a four-leaf clover, a piglet, coins and a red bow. Handwritten New Year's greeting on the back. The postcard has two stamps with Deutsches Reich stamps and a Prague postmark. Ideal for collectors of historical postcards or those interested in the period of World War II. Condition is consistent with its age, only minor signs of wear on the edges.
