Christmas postcard 1947/1948 – Czechoslovakia, cancelled

Original Christmas postcard from around 1947/1948, sent from Prague to Rakovník. On the front side there is a beautiful Christmas illustration with a candle, fir branches, a bell and a pine cone, with the wish Merry Christmas. The back side contains a handwritten wish for Christmas and the New Year, an original postage stamp with a portrait of Štefan Kysel and a postmark. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, slight wear corresponding to its age. A great addition to a collection of historical postcards with a Czech theme.
