Christmas postcard Holy Night – Jan Umlauf, sent in 1943

Older postcard with a painted motif of the birth of Jesus Christ - Holy Night by Jan Umlauf (1825–1916), in the interior of a stable, figures of Mary, Joseph, shepherds and animals. The postcard was sent, has a postage stamp "Böhmen und Mähren" and a handwritten message, stamp dated 22. 12. 1943. Classic smaller postcard format, minor wear and traces of gluing on the back, overall good condition. An interesting historical and collector's item from the Protectorate period.
