Prague 1945 – Destroyed German tank at the main train station, small format

A historical postcard depicting the wreckage of a destroyed German tank in front of the State Railways headquarters in Prague at U Bulhara, after the revolutionary liberation battles in Prague on May 5–9, 1945. On the back is a brief description of the event and the publisher – the postcard was published by A. Wanner after his return from the Flossenbürg concentration camp. This is an original picture with a period atmosphere from the end of World War II. Excellent documentary material for collectors of historical postcards and those interested in the period of the liberation of Czechoslovakia. Reproduction prohibited, original piece.
