Feldpost postcard 1917 – German soldier, World War I
I am offering an original field post postcard from the First World War with a German humorous motif of a soldier in a new uniform, supplemented by handwritten text from 1917. The postcard is marked as a Feldpostkarte, which proves its use in the army. On the front side there is a cartoon motif of a soldier with a highlighted inscription in German "Hoch die Nase in die Luft, Sahnemäßig in neuer Kluft", i.e. "Nos up, great in new armor". The card was sent to an address in Třebíč, contains a field post stamp and field post registration marks as well as a handwritten message. The postcard is well-preserved, signs of age and patina are visible, which gives it a period authenticity. Suitable for collectors of military history, lovers of old postcards and those interested in the First World War and the Austro-Hungarian army. kk LANDW. INFT REG.
