Easter postcard 1989 – flowers and Easter eggs, Czechoslovakia
Original Easter postcard sent in 1989 from the former Czechoslovakia. The front side features a spring motif with a bouquet of white anemone flowers in a vase, next to two traditionally painted Easter eggs and colorful ribbons, characteristic of the Easter holidays. The back side contains a handwritten personal Easter greeting, a postmark from Brno and a period stamp for the 40th anniversary of the Revival National Front, nominal value 50 haller. The quality of the postcard corresponds to its age, slightly bent corners, minor signs of wear. A very nice collector's and thematic piece with an author's photograph (Jan Horký), depicting traditional Czech Easter motifs.
