Postcard 1939 – children in a circle, ethnographic motif, sent
An old postcard from the First Republic, sent in 1939. On the front side of the postcard is a colorful illustration of children holding hands and playing a round game, typical of rural or folk life. The postcard is printed on slightly textured paper and still bears the marks of the original postal service, including a stamp and a postmark from Rakovník. The text on the back is handwritten and personally addressed to Miss Anna in Prague - Strašnice. An exceptional collector's item for lovers of Czech history, ethnography and old children's motifs.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
