Holy Family and Angels – Christmas painted postcard, 1928, J. Mathauser

Older Czech postcard, small format, until 1950, with the motif of the Holy Family and angels, probably a painting by J. Mathauser. The postcard is Christmas-themed, with the inscription Merry Christmas and comes from the period of the First Republic, as evidenced by the Czechoslovak stamp from 1928. On the reverse is a handwritten dedication and a stamp of 50 haller. At the bottom is written For the benefit of Vincentin and his terminally ill inmates. The postcard is well-preserved, slightly worn in places, see photo. Suitable for collectors of historical postcards and those interested in beautiful Christmas motifs.
