Benešov u Semil – old postcard, 1940s, stamp, Czechoslovakia

Original historical postcard with a view of the village of Benešov near Semily. On the front side there is a black and white photograph of a rural landscape with several houses, forests and a distinctive dominant feature – a school building or a larger object in the middle. The back side is described, provided with a Czechoslovakia postage stamp and a Semily postmark dated 12. VIII. 47. The postcard was sent to an address in Prague and contains a handwritten message. The condition corresponds to its age – minor bends, yellowing, authentic patina. A great collector's item from the period before 1950, suitable for lovers of Czech history and regional collections.
